Our History

Profiles Caribbean Inc. (PCI) has deliberately evolved into a full service, human resource consulting firm assisting organizations to develop HR solutions through the utilization of modern human resource tools, methodologies and services. As the regional representative for the Texas based Profiles International Inc. (PI), a global leader in the provision and distribution of occupational assessments and talent management solutions PCI was established in August 1994 to introduce organizations to the use of science to hire and grow their team through the use of psychometric assessments. Since then we now represent Crestcom International an internationally recognized, global leader in management and leadership development. During its existence, PCI has established several strategic partner operations throughout the Caribbean.

Our suite of HR services include psychometric assessments, leadership and Management development training, human resource consulting as well as search and selection. Our network of partners and associates, well trained, professional team coupled with state of the art technology and creativity, help many organizations in all sectors to enhance their human resource function using best practices and world class approaches.

In 2000, PCI was the recipient of the first ever Profiles International (PI) National Award for Performance. In 2002, the company also won the award again from a group of over 50 countries. PCI has also been the recipient of the 2003 Barbados Small Business Association (BSBA) Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship and in 2008, it won the Entrepreneur of the Year and Sectoral Group Awards for Professional Services.

PETER DOWNES BSC. (HONS), CMA, FCA, SPHR (PCI)

Peter Downes BSc. (Hons), CMA, FCA, SPHR (PCI), established Profiles Caribbean Inc. in 1994 to help organizations to hire, promote, manage and develop people using technologically advanced human resource tools and services.

During the past thirty (30) years, Mr. Downes has led the establishment of more than 15 strategic business operations throughout the region. Mr. Downes is a two time winner of PI’s National Director Award for Performance from a slate of over 50 countries.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE - TALENT ACQUISITION

MR. ROHAN MALONE, RACR, B.SC.

Rohan, RACR, B.Sc. is the man in demand! Interacting with employers, job seekers and potential candidates.  Rohan has a number of years’ experience as a head-hunter and has perfected the skill of finding the perfect fit for organizations.

He shared that the most engaging part of his job is ensuring that clients are satisfied with the placement process and outcome.

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE

MR. FABIAN G.A. BLACKMAN MSc.

Fabian, M.Sc. is our  Human Resource Associate at Profiles Caribbean Inc., bringing over a decade of experience in HR and general management across Barbados and the UK. He supports a range of functions including recruitment, training, and client engagement, while helping to drive effective HR strategies that align with both organizational goals and the evolving needs of today’s workforce. Known for his people-centered approach, Fabian plays an active role in delivering impactful solutions that enhance both team performance and the client experience.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management and Public Relations, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development, both from the University of Lincoln. Fabian is also a certified practitioner of Everything DiSC® and The Five Behaviors®, enabling him to lead meaningful behavioural change initiatives, improve communication, and strengthen team dynamics in the modern workplace

 

In today’s fast-changing world, the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP programs provide HR professionals with an accelerated path to refine critical skills, refresh key concepts, and drive meaningful change—ultimately fostering healthier, more productive workplace environments. All participants gain meaningful skills and concepts required to enhance their productivity.

ADMININISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

MS. LÉDE SIMPSON BSc.

LéDe, BSc.  is our Admin Assistant who  the team joined Profiles Caribbean Inc. in 2023 as an Administrative Assistant, bringing a warm, client-centered approach and a strong background in administrative and operational support. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with Psychology, along with certification in Digital Marketing.

With over four years of experience in customer service, data entry, and quality assurance, Ms. Simpson is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and natural ability to connect with others. Her adaptable, team-oriented style makes her a valued contributor to both client-facing and internal initiatives at Profiles Caribbean Inc.
